The Advocacy & Mooting Unit UUM is a unit subordinated to the Law Students’ Society (LAWSOC) of the School of Law, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). The Unit's humble beginnings date back to 2008, whereby since its establishment, the Unit has been vested with the mandate to promote mooting in UUM.

 

Among the key duties of the Unit includes the search for new blood, training of mooters and organising of mooting competitions. All these initiatives aim to equip our mooters with equitable skills to be competent in the mooting arena, both nationally and internationally.
